Kimberly Trueba was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada in April 2018 after a nationwide executive search. An experienced executive with twenty-five years of design and business strategy, organizational development, and operations expertise, Trueba oversees a robust Girl Scouts council of girls and volunteers in six counties.
Prior to joining Girl Scouts, Trueba served in an executive leadership role with Forté Specialty Contractors, a construction firm specializing in building experiential environments in the hospitality, restaurant, and entertainment industries. A second-generation design professional, Trueba began her career as a Design and Development Manager with Walt Disney Imagineering for projects such as World of Disney, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, among many others.

Under her leadership as CEO, Girl Scouts was the recipient of the largest single private gift in Girl Scouts of the USA history with the donation of 70 acres of property and land from the Charles and Phyllis M. Frias Charitable Trust valued at nearly $9 million.
